Over 30 specialist from the field of meteorology, IT, artificial intelligence and more, are prepared to provide reliable and professional services customised to the needs of the customer.
We want to eliminate the negative effects weather has on health, property, and mental well being of people (society). We do all of it with courage, passion, in an atmosphere of creative enthusiasm with a bit of punk. We’re not corporate.
We run a network of meteorological radars in Central Europe, a network of weather, air pollution measuring stations and a network of cameras. We have three satellite receiver stations. We collect weather from an international exchange station network.
We forecast weather and release hyperlocalized warnings individualised to the GPS client. We calculate numerological meteorological models, we integrate the most modern methods of artificial intelligence and we prepare tools for our experienced meteorologists. This allows us to achieve highly precise predictions and warnings.
We develop X and C band meteorological radars, as well as neural networks for weather prediction. We work together with Universities and individual experts to achieve professional results.
"We have been working with Meteopress in Czech republic and Slovakia for many years, they provide their top Severe Weather Warning System to our clients and keep developing it. They are a partner we can rely on.”Martin Zacek, CEO UNIQA CZ & SK
"When switching to professional meteorological show on our TV, the best thing that could have happened was to meet Michal Najman from Meteopress. We have been very satisfied with their services for 13 years.”Roland Kubina, Head of News and Programming, TV JOJ, SK
"We are very happy with both the cooperation with Meteopress/Meteosense and the radar itself. Its value for money and performance exceeded our expectations.”Marcos Massari, CEO Somar Meteorologia, Sao Paolo, Brasil
Hailstorms, gale winds, icing, sudden rain and other dangerous weather phenomena threaten not only personal property, but also health and lives. Our specialised team of meteorologists and state of the art AI predictive tools catch every developing threat and sends its location via notification or sms to the client, including instructions how to protect ones self from the dangerous weather
Rain and storms are key meteorological phenomena. That is why we develop, build, and continually improve our very own X-band meteorological radars. We then install them into our own radar network in the region or sell them to clients al around the world.
We take the recorded and forecast data about weather, wrap it up in a graphical package and supply tv stations, web portals and media houses with our reports. Our 28 years of experience allows us to create content customised for the specific audiences of media providers as well as deliver quality content with absolute reliability.
The most detailed accessible weather data, taken either from our measuring networks or from our predictive numerical models, are available to our clients in high resolution and with SLA via API.
Thanks to neural networks we predict rain showers, cloud conditions and other weather elements for the most current upcoming two day window. We developed our own Meteopress Platform for AI Nowcasting which allows reliable, functional forecasts thanks to artificial intelligence.
Air quality has been one of the main topics of environmental protection. So that we are able to measure when and where air quality is either good or bad, we developed the device MeteoDust, which measures the concentration of dust particles in the air. MeteoDust can also be used as a communication gateway for other meteorological sensors such as a temperature probes, anemometer or precipitation measuring device.
Thanks to our hyperlocal system which warns of incoming dangerous weather phenomena, clients of insurance companies always know about approaching dangerous weather and how to protect themselves in time, allowing them to protect their property and prevent the need for insurance claims.
We provide media companies weather forecasts either in the form of data and texts, or directly as video forecasts. We create a wide range of videos is created for the media, from forecasts one or two days in advance for the Czech Republic and Central Europe, to live segments on current weather developments, to additional videos explaining meteorological phenomena.
In cooperation with the Faculty of Information Technologies ČVUT, we developed short term prediction (called Nowcasting) of precipitation thank to a neural network. At the Math-phys faculty UK we work along with the Department of Atmosphere Physics, which raises future meteorologists.
The network of our professional meteorological stations including the MeteoDust air pollution measurement stations provides cities complete information about weather and its development, and about extreme conditions in individual parts of the city.
Thanks to our affordable meteorological radars, we help meteorological institutes build up new or supplement their current radar network. Utilising our neural network we are also able to use the radar data to create short term forecasts of precipitation development.
Information about rain and incoming storms are also very important for airports, and that is why airports are where we mainly install radars of our radar network.
